Commercial Use and Copyright

CAN I USE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS FOR COMMERCIAL USE?

All photographs displayed within the RCH Photography portfolio, store, or any other RCH Photography asset are protected by copyright and are intended for personal use only unless otherwise authorized in writing by RCH Photography.

Photographs may not be used for resale, advertising, marketing, promotional materials, commercial branding, business purposes, social media advertisements, or any other commercial application without prior written permission from RCH Photography.

Clients who book photography services with Ryan may receive usage rights for personal branding, social media, marketing, and approved commercial purposes depending on the terms of their agreement.

Athletes photographed by Ryan may use their images for NIL activities, recruiting, and personal branding purposes. Credit to RCH Photography and Ryan Holden should be provided whenever reasonably possible.

Requests for expanded commercial licensing or special usage permissions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Exceptions may apply for teams, organizations, athletes, or individuals seeking access to photographs from events covered by RCH Photography.

ARE ALL PHOTOS YOURS?

Yes. All photographs displayed across the RCH Photography website, portfolio, store, social media platforms, and related brand assets are captured by Ryan Holden unless otherwise stated.

Ryan Holden and RCH Photography retain full copyright ownership of all images. Purchased photographs may include an artist signature or watermark to preserve authenticity and brand identification.

WHY DO THE PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE STORE HAVE A WATERMARK?

Photographs displayed in the RCH Photography store contain watermarks to prevent unauthorized downloading, reproduction, or redistribution prior to purchase.

Portfolio images may also contain watermarking to help prevent unauthorized third-party reposting or commercial use of RCH Photography content.

CAN I RECIEVE UNEDITED PHOTOS (RAW FILES) FROM PHOTOSHOOTS?

No. RCH Photography does not release unedited photographs or RAW files under any circumstances. This is standard practice throughout the photography industry.

Editing is a critical part of the artistic and creative process. Clients hire RCH Photography not only for the photographs themselves, but also for the editing style, creative direction, and final presentation of the work.

Clients are encouraged to review the RCH Photography portfolio, editing style page, and social media content prior to booking to ensure the brand’s editing style aligns with their expectations.

If a client believes adjustments are needed after gallery delivery, requests for minor re-edits must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Approved re-edits may be subject to an additional fee ranging from $30–$75 depending on the scope of the requested changes.

Requests to completely alter photographs outside the established RCH Photography editing style or brand identity will be denied.

No exceptions to this policy will be made.

CAN I EDIT PHOTOS MYSELF OR POST PHOTOS THAT APPEAR DIFFERENT THAN THE PHOTOS I RECEIVED?

No. Clients and third parties may not edit, filter, alter, manipulate, crop, recolor, or otherwise modify photographs captured by RCH Photography without prior written permission.

Photography is an art form, and the final delivered images are intended to represent the creative vision and editing style of RCH Photography.

All photographs remain protected under applicable copyright laws, and all rights are reserved by Ryan Holden and RCH Photography.

Clients are encouraged to review the RCH Photography portfolio, editing style page, and social media content prior to booking to ensure the editing style matches their expectations.

Posting altered versions of RCH Photography images, including the application of filters, presets, AI modifications, excessive cropping, screenshots, or additional edits, may be considered copyright infringement and misrepresentation of the RCH Photography brand.

No exceptions to this policy will be made.

Store, Products & Downloads

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?

RCH Photography currently accepts the following payment methods:

  • All major credit and debit cards

  • PayPal

  • Google Pay

  • Apple Pay

Additional payment options may become available in the future depending on platform support.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE PURCHASED PHOTOS FROM THE STORE?

Purchased photographs are delivered instantly after checkout.

Once your order is completed, you will receive:

  • An on-screen download link immediately after purchase

  • A download link sent to the email address provided during checkout

Download links remain active for 30 days from the date of purchase.

WHAT IS YOUR STORE RETURN POLICY?

Due to the digital nature of photography downloads, all sales of digital photographs are final and non-refundable.

Once purchased, customers receive immediate access to downloadable files without watermarks. Because digital downloads cannot be monitored, revoked, or guaranteed unused after delivery, returns, refunds, or exchanges cannot be provided.

All merchandise sales are also final. Merchandise items are custom-made and produced specifically for each order, therefore returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

CAN I GIFT A PHOTOGRAPH/PHOTOSHOOT TO SOMEONE?

While we currently do not offer direct gifting options for digital photo purchases, customers may purchase and personally send downloaded photographs to others.

RCH Photography also offers eGift Cards through the online store. Gift cards can be sent directly to recipients and may include a scheduled delivery date.

DO YOU SELL PHYSICAL PRINTS?

At this time, RCH Photography operates as a digital-first company and does not currently offer physical prints.

All photo purchases are delivered as high-resolution downloadable digital files.

Photoshoots & Client Policies

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY REGARDING PHOTOSHOOTS?

Cancellations for photoshoots must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the session.

The following cancellation fees may apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the session may be subject to a $40 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session are subject to a standard $80 cancellation fee.

  • Larger projects, team sessions, event coverage, or specialty assignments may incur cancellation fees up to $150 depending on the scope of the booking.

If inclement weather is expected, clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule the session. Weather-related rescheduling requests are subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.

Same-day cancellations due to weather remain subject to the standard cancellation fee unless otherwise approved by RCH Photography.

Verified emergencies or extraordinary circumstances may be exempt from cancellation fees at the discretion of RCH Photography.

Cancellations resulting from postponed or canceled sporting events may still be subject to a fee of up to $40 due to reserved scheduling time and preparation.

WHAT IS YOUR NORMAL TURN AROUND TIME TO RECEIVE PHOTOS FROM A PHOTO SHOOT?

Turnaround times vary depending on current client workload, seasonality, and the scope of the assignment.

Full payment must be completed within 21 days of the photoshoot unless otherwise stated in writing. Final galleries will not be delivered until payment has been received in full.

RCH Photography reserves the right to withhold any and all photographs until all outstanding balances are paid.

Most standard sessions are delivered within approximately 7 days after payment is received. Many galleries are completed sooner depending on scheduling and workload. For professional and collegiate athletes and organizations, same day/next morning delivery may apply.

Larger events, tournaments, commercial projects, or high-volume assignments may require additional editing and processing time.

DOES RCH PHOTOGRAPHY HAVE A RIGHT TO WITHDRAW OR CANCELATION CLAUSE FROM CONTRACTS & PROPOSED BOOKINGS?

Yes. RCH Photography operates at a high professional standard and reserves the right to cancel, decline, reschedule, or withdraw from any proposed or confirmed booking under certain circumstances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Failure to provide or confirm important session details such as location, timing, participant count, or project scope

  • Failure to complete required deposits or payments within agreed timelines

  • Scheduling conflicts, overbooking situations, or limited availability

  • Unsafe, inappropriate, illegal, or unprofessional working environments or behavior

  • Misrepresentation of the project, intended usage, or scope of coverage

  • Severe weather, travel issues, venue restrictions, illness, emergencies, or equipment failure

  • Repeated communication issues or inability to finalize session details within a reasonable timeframe

  • Projects or requests that do not align with the professional standards, creative direction, or values of RCH Photography

If RCH Photography must withdraw from a confirmed booking, reasonable notice will be provided whenever possible.

If applicable, payments for services not rendered will be refunded or addressed appropriately based on the circumstances of the cancellation.

By booking with RCH Photography, clients acknowledge and agree to these policies and understand that all decisions are made to protect the professionalism, safety, quality, and integrity of the work delivered.

DO YOU OFFER MEMBERSHIPS TO YOUR SITE? WHAT DO I RECEIVE FOR BEING A MEMBER?

Yes. Creating an RCH Photography account provides a faster and more convenient experience when purchasing photographs, merchandise, or booking services.

Member benefits currently include:

  • Faster checkout experiences

  • Saved billing and shipping information

  • Access to order history and purchase records

RCH Photography is also actively developing additional membership benefits, which may include:

  • Early access to new photo releases and merchandise launches

  • Exclusive discount codes and promotional offers

Additional membership features may be introduced over time.

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?

Yes. RCH Photography currently offers the following discounts:

Veterans Discount

  • 20% off photoshoots

  • 10% off online store purchases

First Responders Discount

  • 5% off photoshoots

  • 5% off online store purchases

To receive a discount code for online store purchases, customers must email proof of veteran or first responder status to:

rchphotographysales@gmail.com

Approved customers will receive a unique one-time-use discount code. A new code may be required for each separate order.

Photoshoot discounts will be applied directly to the client invoice when applicable.

At this time, no additional public discounts are offered. However, RCH Photography plans to introduce future bundle pricing, quantity discounts, seasonal promotions, and package deals for select products and services.
